‘BACK 4 BLOOD’ DELAYED TO OCTOBER
Back 4 Blood, the co-op zombie shooter from Turtle Rock Studios, has been delayed four months from June 18 to Oct. 12.
The announcement came via the game’s official Twitter account, citing development progress hurdles and confirming the new release date. “Turtle Rock Studios is working hard to make Back 4 Blood the best game it can possibly be at launch and the team needs more time to do this,” the studio said. “Therefore, we will release Back 4 Blood on October 12, 2021.”
The statement also thanked fans for their support and announced an open beta set for this summer. No specific release date was given for the open beta.
Back 4 Blood was unveiled during the 2020 Game Awards, showing off its Left 4 Dead-style gameplay for the first time. A closed alpha test soon followed, but the game went silent until Thursday’s news.
