UP IN THE CLOUD: XBOX LIVE REBRANDS, SONY’S PLAY AT HOME INITIATIVE IS HERE
Xbox Live has been rebranded to Xbox Network, though it is a shift in name only, as there are no changes being made to the experience with the update.
“Xbox network refers to the underlying Xbox online service, which was updated in the Microsoft Services Agreement,” a Microsoft spokesperson tells VENN. “The update from Xbox Live to Xbox network is intended to distinguish the underlying service from Xbox Live Gold Membership.”
