‘FORTNITE’, ‘ROCKET LEAGUE’ TEAM UP AGAIN FOR LLAMA-RAMA EVENT
Epic Games has announced the return of “Llama-Rama,” a collaboration between its popular battle royale Fortnite and soccer racer Rocket League, developed by Psyonix, which Epic purchased in 2019.
The event will run from March 25 at 9 p.m. PT through April 9 at 1 p.m. PT, and will add challenges to Rocket League’s online modes that will unlock content in both Rocket League and Fortnite upon completion. Rocket League players can earn Fortnite-themed items for their cars, including a topper and wheel set, while the Fortnite unlocks include a weapon skin, lobby music track, emote spray and more.
The event will also feature a concert in Fortnite’s in-game Party Royale area by Grammy-nominated electronic artist Kaskade, performing his new Reset EP. The concert will play three times, first on March 26 at 5 p.m. PT, then again on March 27 and 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. PT. Players can watch the concert either picture-in-picture while playing started Fortnite Battle Royale modes, in the stage section of Party Royale or on the video chat app Houseparty. Each concert will be followed by updates for Rocket League Season 3.
