The Nintendo Switch’s Shin Megami Tensei V may still be a ways off, but that doesn’t mean MegaTen fans have nothing else to look forward to at present. In fact, May marks the arrival of Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster, the rebirth of the classic PlayStation 2 title.

Atlus confirmed the remake will touch down just as spring flowers are starting to bloom on May 25. The game, considered a classic to Shin Megami Tensei fans, follows an apocalyptic event known as the Conception. An average day in Tokyo descends into chaos as the entire city is engulfed by demonic forces. You must take control of a young man who finds himself caught between the war between gods and demons, suddenly imbued with magical powers.

Of course, it’s a lot more granular than that, and it’s an exciting thrill ride of an RPG that’s been remastered for new audiences. This time around, it comes packing remastered 3D models and backgrounds with new difficulty settings. There’s a new suspend save feature as well so you can keep track of your progress whenever you’re ready to quit.

There’s actually more to do in this version of the game as well, as there’s a new alternate story branch featuring Shin Megami Tensei mainstay Raidou Kuzunoha. In addition to voiced Japanese and English audio, there’s also a swath of different patches and fixes implemented to make the game run more efficiently than ever.

Along with the augments made to the game, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster has a pair of two different pre-order options. The Standard Edition is $49.99 and buyers will get a copy of the game. The Digital Deluxe Edition is $69.99 and comes with the following:
