Fantasian Video Game Image

Mobile Games Scroll is a curated weekly roundup of the hottest news from gaming-on-the-go.

Described as a “diorama adventure RPG,” Fantasian is an upcoming mobile game featuring over 150 real-world dioramas that were digitally imported into the game. Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is developing the game through his studio Mistwalker. Fantasian will launch exclusively on Apple Arcade sometime in 2021.

Like your typical JRPG, walking through the world will throw you into random encounter battles with enemies. Fantasian differs in that it allows you to toggle an option that automatically sends enemies you’d normally fight to another dimension. Once these enemies get piled into this separate world, you can hop in and fight them all at once instead of individually.

Here’s what else is happening in the world of mobile games.
