‘AFTER THE FALL’ DISHES OUT CHILLY HORROR IN NEW TRAILER
Vertigo Games has set a release window for its next VR title, After the Fall, which will be releasing on PlayStation VR, Oculus and PC this summer 2021. A new trailer for the horror game dropped on Wednesday morning.
After the Fall will bring fast-paced four player co-op action to VR gamers worldwide, pitting players and their friends against a hostile, evolving post-apocalyptic L.A. in a fight for survival. The game is built from the ground up for a multi-platform VR rollout, and will feature full cross-form multiplayer, four-player co-op functionality. It will also support a wide range of VR play styles that offer an immersive thrill ride for veteran VR gamers while being easy to learn for VR newcomers.
“Since the early concept phase, After the Fall has been all about having VR gamers team up together, regardless of the device they play on, through full cross-platform multiplayer functionality,” said Richard Stitselaar, Vertigo Games studio director. “In a time of widespread social isolation it feels like the goal now has additional relevance.”
In After the Fall, players can engage with the game’s fast pace combat with real-life movements. While venturing into enemy territory to face hordes of Snowbreed, undead creatures who have driven humanity underground, players have access to an arsenal of unique and deadly weapons to ensure mankind’s survival.
