Welcome to Elk Image

Google Stadia has announced two new narrative-based games coming to the platform. The first, Welcome to Elk, is a biographical adventure set on an island like no other, where every character you encounter has a story to tell. Described as “weird to wonderful to dark to desperate,” every story told on Elk are based on true stories of “life on the road less traveled.” Welcome to Elk is available now.

The second new title, A Place for the Unwilling, is a branching narrative adventure set in the final 21 days of a dying city. Every decision the player makes will shape the environment and the city’s fate. However, the clock is ticking, and the city carries on with or without the player. A Place for the Unwilling doesn’t have a specific launch date yet, but is coming soon.

Stadia also recently announced PixelJunk Raiders, a roguelike action-adventure game coming exclusively to the platform on March 1. The game includes procedurally-generated landscapes and offers State Share functionality.
