FAZE CLAN TEAMS WITH KAPPA, 433 TO LAUNCH LIMITED SOCCER APPAREL LINE
Esports and media organization FaZe Clan has partnered with sportswear brand Kappa and social media agency 433 to launch the FaZe Clan FGS 21 Kit, a new apparel offering.
“Our collaboration with Kappa and 433 expresses the natural cultural convergence of the gaming and [soccer] communities,” said Lee Trink, FaZe Clan CEO. “Bringing a virtual kit to life physically is a first for us, and gives us a new lane for fans to interact with and rep FaZe in multiple ways.”
The limited-quantity kit includes a soccer jersey and shorts sporting classic FaZe Clan red and black tiger camo print, as well as the Kappa logo and the number “4” to represent 433. FGS 21 is a real-life replica of the digital in-game kit FaZe Clan and EA released for FIFA in December.
The kit builds on FaZe Clan’s growing relationship with international football. In addition to the FIFA drop in December, FaZe recently signed a partnership with Manchester City Football Club. In January, the two organizations hosted the FaZe City Cup Ft. Fortnite, bringing in over 295 thousand registrations.
The kit is available for purchase starting on Tuesday at 12 p.m. PT. Fans can purchase the jersey for $75, the shorts for $65, or both for $120.
