UP IN THE CLOUD: STADIA OFFERS ‘CRAYTA’ FOR FREE, PRIME GAMING DROPS THIRD ‘FALL GUYS’ BUNDLE

Crayta joins Destiny 2 and Super Bomberman R Online to become the third Stadia library title to be available for free to all players regardless of pro status. Crayta is a collaborative game creation platform, allowing players of all abilities and backgrounds to create and play multiplayer games with their communities. The Stadia-exclusive title also supports Crowd Play beta, allowing viewers to join games in progress from within YouTube live streams.

Stadia Pro also added a cache of titles to its library: Little Nightmares II arrived on Feb. 11; Fifa 21 kicks off on March 17; Outriders sets out on April 1; Judgement rules on April 23; and Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood starts its adventure on June 1.

This week, Stadia is also offering sales on Assassin’s Creed, Borderlands, Doom, Hitman and Ghost Recon Breakpoint games, among others.

Elsewhere in cloud gaming…

Three SNES and one NES titles were added to the Nintendo Switch Online library on Wednesday: Psycho Dream, Doomsday Warrior, Prehistorik Man and Fire ‘N Ice. This marks Psycho Dream’s U.S. debut as the title was previously available exclusively in Japan.

Amazon Gaming made its third Prime Gaming bundle for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout available on Monday. The MVP bundle includes sporty costumes and three crowns. Prime gamers can also claim a new Apex Legends skin for new hero Fuse.

Prime Gaming also released a year-in-review video highlighting statistics from 2020. Members received over 120 free games totaling over 850 hours of gameplay. Dozens of games — such as Apex Legends, Grand Theft Auto Online, Valorant and Warframe — also offered in-game content exclusively available to Prime members.

PlayStation Plus’ February lineup is all about showcasing player creativity. Destruction AllStars allows gamers to create chaos in vehicular combat, Concrete Genie showcases artistic capabilities with magical portraits and Control makes players get inventive with supernatural abilities.

Xbox Game Pass is challenging its subscribers with new quests to complete in the month of February. Highlighted quests include mastering supernatural abilities in Control and getting five stealth kills in Dishonored 2.
