‘CALL OF DUTY’ GEARS UP FOR SEASON 2 CONTENT IN ‘WARZONE’, ‘BLACK OPS COLD WAR’
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone are set to launch their second season of content on Feb. 25.
Activision made the announcement Tuesday via the official Call of Duty blog. In the new season, players will suit up as Frank Woods and descend into the Golden Triangle to search for Russell Adler, who went missing at the end of Season 1.
A new storyline isn’t the only content coming to the Call of Duty universe, however. Studio Treyarch’s Throwback Moshpit also arrives on Feb. 18, a classic Cold War map that has made its way into the new game. Call of Duty is also reviving the Snipers Only Moshpit, a 6v6 competition in which players face off with nothing but a sniper rifle.
A new retro renegade bundle will also be available starting Feb. 18. Players can get their 80s vibe on with two weapon blueprints: the ultra tape deck and fast tempo builds. The bundle also includes the forward progress watch, mixtape charm, retro vision sticker, love link calling card and retro vehicle horn.
Double XP and double battle pass XP will be live on Black Ops Cold War on Feb. 19-22.
